1. Sagrada Familia

An unfinished church designed by the catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. The construction has started on 1882 and it is expected to be completed by 2026. Its unique architecture and special design have made it the modern symbol of Barcelona.

2. Plaça de Catlunya

A large square in the city center Barcelona surrounded by flowers and water fountains. Plaça de Catlunya is the city center of Barcelona. Therefore, many metro lines, urban buses and airport lines are on this place that makes it very important. Pigeons adore Plaça de Catalunya, remember to get some bread crumbs if you want to play with them.

3. Las Ramblas

One of the crowdiest places in Barcelona. It is a long street of 1.2 km connecting Plaça de Catlunya with the Christopher Colombus monument at the Port Vell, surrounded by trees all along the street.

When you get to Las Ramblas, you will notice the huge number of restaurants of all types. However, these restaurants are little bit expensive with low service quality in general due to popularity of the place and the big number of tourists.

4. Plaça d’Espanya

One of most important square in Barcelona build at the bottom of the Montjuic national museum of art. It is a huge roundabout built on 1929 for the international exhibition. You can have an amazing view on this square from the Arenas mall next to Plaça d’Espanya.

5. Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya

Known as MNAC, it is one of the most visited museum of Barcelona. It is located in the Palau Nacional (national palace), near Plaça d’Espanya. In this museum, you can admire an amazing romanesque collection of art. But also, you can get an amazing panorama view on the city.

6. Montjuic Castle

A castle built in 1640 on the top of Montjuic hill. Monjtuic castle is connected to the beach using a cable car - called telefèric-.

A long and clean beach in Barcelona. It is the nearest beach to the city center. That’s why, it can be quite busy during summer.

10. Park Güell

A park located on Carmel hill. It is composed of 2 parts:

It is the stadium FC Barcelona located in Les Corts district. Since its construction in 1954, Barcelona football club was always occupying this stadium. It is the 12th biggest stadium in the world with a capacity of 99,000 spectators.

13. Barcelona Cathedral

It is a gothic-style church constructed between 13th century and 15th century. It is located in the gothic district, near the metro station Jaume I. The church and its district are a bit different from Barcelona’s style, offering to the lovers of architecture a new experience.
